Christ Church, Bundaberg
Christ Church is the mother church of our parish. The first Christ Church was opened in 1876, while the current Christ Church is approaching 100 years of serving the Bundaberg community, with its construction completed and dedication taking place in 1927.
Next to Buss Park and in the heart of the CBD, Christ Church not only provides a central home for worship in Bundaberg, it is also home of a number of ministries that support those in need.
'Cathedral like' with its beautiful stained glass windows, pipe organ, sanctuary, chapels and acoustic qualities, Christ Church is a place of wonder and reflection.
A broad spectrum of worship styles are embraced by the church from Anglo-Catholic organ with hymns to piano or small band with contemporary songs.
