Our Parish Groups
Our Parish has a range of groups that serve the diverse needs of our Parishioners and the community as a whole. They are a vibrant part of Parish life, provide vital ministries that aid us spiritually and support members of our community who need a helping hand.

Anglican Mothers Union Australia
The purpose of The Mothers Union is to be specially concerned with all that strengthens and preserves marriage and Christian family life. They make local donations to mothers and families in need, as well as provide gifts at local baptisms.
The Mothers Union branch at Bundaberg Anglican has also taken a strong stand against domestic violence in recent years, partnering with other local community organisations for awareness events and campaigns.
The Mothers' Union Members meet 2nd and 5th Wednesday of month at Christ Church for Mass at 9:30 am and a fellowship meeting following Mass.
New Members are always welcome.
Anglican Men's Society
Our local Men's Society meets on the second Tuesday of each month, except December and January, at 11.30am in the Supper Room at Christ Church Bundaberg, or at an advised venue. The group have been serving the men of Bundaberg since 1978, offering an opportunity to support and encourage each other in prayer, business and faith while enjoying lunch.
Men’s Society members also run a “Smoko” each Friday morning where they provide complimentary refreshments for those doing it tough.
One of the yearly highlights is the Lenten Soup Night which has now run for 28 years. In 2025 Soup Night will be on Friday, 11 April; bookings essential.
During the year the AMS branch work closely with St Luke’s Anglican School, the Mother’s Union, Scripture Union and other groups to serve the Bundaberg community and beyond. Some members will be visiting Solomon Islands in 2025 to support AMS work in that country.
While it’s small local branch, they are very much faith focused and have aspirations to much larger. They’d love to have you join them, so together you can do more in faith and friendship for our Christian mission.
